Setting Transaction Charge Options

Using the Online payment option (Paystack or Nomba) on Bumpa is both secure and convenient, offering quick transaction notifications and reliable processing. 

Paystack transactions incur a 1.5% processing fee while Nomba transaction incur a 1.3% processing fee. 

You have the option to cover this charge yourself or pass it on to your customers at checkout.

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up transaction charges on Bumpa, from accessing the dashboard to enabling transaction charges for your customers and selecting payment methods like Paystack and Nomba

Go to app.getbumpa.com

1. Click on "Dashboard"

Access the dashboard.

Click on 'Dashboard'

2. Click on "Payment Methods"

Navigate to the Payment Methods section.

Click on 'Payment Methods'

3. Click on "Paystack" to activate this option as a payment method

Select Paystack as a payment method.

Click on 'Paystack' to activate this option as a payment method

Toggle on 'Close' to exit the Paystack connection window.

4.  Click on "Nomba"

This will enable you choose Nomba as a payment method.

Toggle on 'Close' to exit the Nomba connection window. Click on 'Nomba Connected' 

5. Proceed to select your preferred option for the transaction charges

Proceed to select your preferred option for the transaction charges

Check the box for "Myself"  to bear the transaction charges yourself. Please note that this means the charges will be added to deducted from your remittance.

Proceed to select your preferred option for the transaction charges

Check the box for "customer" to enable the option to pass transaction charges to customers. Please note that this means the charges will be added to your customer’s payment at checkout.
