Bumpa Free Plan Phase-Out (Effective 19th November 2025)

Created by Bumpa Support, Modified on Fri, 21 Nov at 2:07 PM by Bumpa Support

We’ve made important updates to Bumpa to give every merchant a faster, safer, and more reliable experience. As part of these improvements, we officially discontinued the Free Plan effective 19 November 2025. This guide explains what it means for you as a merchant, what has changed, and how you can keep your store and data secure.

What Is Changing?

Existing Users on Basic Plan:

The Bumpa Free Plan (Basic Plan) is no longer supported starting from 19th November 2025. This affects how merchants on the Free Plan can access their store, use features, and manage their data. The main changes are:

  • Mobile app Access:
Free users can no longer complete actions on the Bumpa mobile app.

  • Web app Access:
When Free users try to use the web dashboard, they are automatically redirected to the subscription payment page. Store editing and backend tools are no longer available without an active subscription.

  • Website Visibility:
Websites created under the Free Plan have been deprecated and are no longer visible or accessible to customers.

  • Data Deletion Timeline:
All data belonging to Free Plan users will be permanently deleted by the end of March 2026. After this date, the data cannot be recovered, even if a user decides to subscribe later.

  • Restoring Data Before March:
If a Free Plan user upgrades before the March deadline, all their products, settings, and store data will be restored exactly as they were before the plan was phased out.

Next Steps:  How to subscribe to the Bumpa premium plan

To continue using Bumpa and keep your store data safe, please renew or upgrade your subscription. You can subscribe via the Bumpa web app or the mobile app. If you need help choosing a plan or completing your payment, a Bumpa Specialist is available to assist you.

New Users on Free Trial

When you sign up on Bumpa, we want you to feel confident and comfortable as you set up your business. That’s why every new user gets access to a 14-day free trial before making any commitment.

Here’s how it works:

  • After signing up, you can choose to start with a paid plan or activate your free trial.

  • The free trial lasts for 14 days, giving you full access to all Bumpa features, adding products, designing your website, receiving orders, and familiarising yourself with the dashboard.

  • When your 2-week trial ends, your store will simply be deactivated until you choose a subscription.

  • Don’t worry, your data stays safe. The moment you subscribe, your store will be restored exactly as you left it

The free trial is our way of giving you time to explore Bumpa at your own pace. If you have any questions or need help during your setup, our support team is always ready to guide you.

Existing User: Subscription Renewal

What Happens When Your Subscription Expires? When a subscription expires, your store becomes inactive, and your data will be kept for 1 year from the expiration of your subscription.

Our updated renewal process ensures that merchants who have previously subscribed have enough time to restore their access without losing important business information.

Here’s how it works:

  • For merchants who have been on a paid plan before:

Your data is protected for up to 1 year after your subscription expires. You can renew at any time within this period, and all your products, orders, customers, and store settings will be restored exactly as they were.

  • For merchants who have never subscribed (Basic users):

You have until the end of March 2025 to upgrade. After this date, all data associated with Basic accounts will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, even if you subscribe later.
