Connecting TikTok Pixel to your Bumpa account

Getting people to your website from TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram is only half the job. The next question is: what do those visitors do once they arrive?

That’s where tracking tools like TikTok Pixel and Meta Pixel come in.

A Pixel helps you understand what happens after someone clicks your ad. It can track important website actions such as visits, add-to-carts, checkouts, and purchases. With this information, you can better understand your ad performance, retarget visitors who didn’t complete a purchase, and optimise your campaigns for better conversions.

If you have a Bumpa website, connecting your Pixels is straightforward.

How to connect TikTok Pixel to your Bumpa website

Before you start: This setup must be done on the Bumpa web app at app.getbumpa.com. TikTok Pixel integration is not yet available on the Bumpa mobile app.

1. Get your TikTok Pixel code

Start by logging in to TikTok Ads Manager. From there:

Select Web.

Enter your website link.

Select Manual Setup.

Choose TikTok Pixel.

Give your Pixel a name.

Copy the generated Pixel code.

2. Add your Pixel to Bumpa

Once you have your code:

  • Log in to Bumpa.
  • Go to Operations → Connected Apps.
  • Select TikTok Pixel.
  • Paste your Pixel code.
  • Click Install.

That’s it. Your TikTok Pixel is connected, and no additional event setup is required in TikTok Ads Manager.

How to connect Meta Pixel to your Bumpa website

Meta Pixel works in a similar way.

1. Create your Meta Pixel

Log in to Meta Ads Manager and open Events Manager.

Then:

  • Click All Tools → Events Manager.
  • Select Connect Data Sources.
  • Choose Web → Connect.
  • Name your Pixel and click Create.
  • Select Gather website activity using Meta Pixel.
  • Choose Install code manually.
  • Copy the Pixel code provided.

2. Add your Pixel to Bumpa

Now return to your Bumpa account:

Log in to Bumpa.

Go to Operations → Connected Apps.

Select Meta Pixel.

Paste your Pixel code.

Click Connect.

Your Meta Pixel is now connected to your Bumpa website.

Set up and check your events

After connecting your Meta Pixel, return to Events Manager → Pixel Overview and refresh the page to confirm that your Pixel is active.

You can also use Meta’s Event Setup Tool to track important customer actions on your website, including Add to Cart, Checkout, and other actions that matter to your business.

Why Pixel tracking matters

Once your Pixel is working, you can get a clearer picture of what happens after someone clicks your ad.

Instead of only knowing that someone visited your website, you can see whether they:

  • Viewed your website
  • Added a product to their cart
  • Started checkout
  • Completed a purchase

These insights can help you understand which campaigns are driving meaningful customer actions, retarget visitors who didn’t purchase, and make better decisions about where to spend your advertising budget.

Your ad gets the click. Pixel tracking helps you understand what happens next.
