Product History Page

We have updated the product details page to offer a complete history and audit of your products and variations. You can see every detail and change ever made to your products and variations by clicking on a product. Showing each variation as its product gives insight into how each variation is sold, returned etc.

How to View a Product History Page:

• Login to Bumpa mobile app: app.getbumpa.com

• Step 1: Go to your Homepage and click on the "Product" tab

• Step 2: Select the “Specific Product” you want to view to access its detailed history

• Step 3: The activity history of the specific product will be displayed
  

Key New Information Available are:

• Total Sold: This is the total number of units sold for the lifetime of the product.

• Total Removed: This shows the total number of units removed from inventory over the product's lifetime.

• Total Returned: This displays the total number of units returned by customers over the product's lifetime

Viewing Product History by Date

The product history is set to display data for the past week by default and if no sales or changes occurred within that week, you will need to filter the date range to view the relevant information.

When you change the date range, the totals for "Sold," "Added," "Removed" and "Returned" will update to reflect the selected period.

Note: You can only filter for "Today", "This week" and "This month" on the mobile app. 

Note: Here is what each "Product Activities Status" means 

To effectively manage your inventory, it's important to understand the different product activity statuses. 

Here are the different statuses and their meanings:

• Sold: This means the product was purchased. The sources will be shown as an Order.

• Updated: This indicates the product was edited within an order, either by being added or reduced. The name associated with the update shows who made the changes.

• Transfer: This occurs when the product is moved from one location to another.

• Added or Removed: This indicates that the product was adjusted in the inventory.

Viewing Product Variation with History

You can now access a dedicated page for viewing products with variations. When you click on a Product with variations, the new page will show you the “total variations quantity, where you use the  “Add” or “Remove” button to increase or decrease the number of the product.

To view the new product variation page, please follow the steps below;

Step 1: Log in to Bumpa app: app.getbumpa.com

• 1. Click the “Product” tab on your dashboard to view the list of Products 

• 2. Next, click the specific “Product with Variation” to see the list of variations as shown in the image below;

Step 2: Click on the “product variation” to see the list of the variations itself.

• Step 3: Click on the “specific preferred variation” to see the details of the variation itself.

Next, click on "Product History" to see the list of activities made on the product.
