PRODUCT HISTORY

We have updated the product details page to offer a complete history and audit of your products and variations. You can see every detail and change ever made to your products and variations by clicking on a product.

How to View a Product History Page:

  • Login to Bumpa Webapp: app.getbumpa.com

  • Go to your dashboard and click on the "Product" tab

  • Select the “Specific Product” you want to view to access its detailed history.

Key New Information Available are:

  • Total Sold: This is the total number of units sold for the lifetime of the product.

  • Total Removed: This shows the total number of units removed from inventory over the product's lifetime.

  • Total Returned: This displays the total number of units returned by customers over the product's lifetime

Viewing Product History by Date

The product history is set to display data for the past week by default. If no sales or changes occurred within that week, you will need to filter the date range to view the relevant information.

When you change the date range, the totals for "Sold," "Added," "Removed," and "Returned" will update to reflect the selected period.

Note: You cannot search for product history data beyond February 2024.

To search for the specific product history by date:

  • Select your preferred date in Step 1 below

  • Next, click “Apply”

  • The number of products “Sold”, “Added”, “Removed” and “Returned” based on the selected date applied will be displayed as shown in step 2 below;

Note: You can also reset the date to change the dates you would like to view anytime.

Product Activities Status and What It Means

To effectively manage your inventory, it's important to understand the different product activity statuses. Here are the different statuses and their meanings:

  • Sold: This means the product was purchased. The sources will be shown as an Order.

  • Updated: This indicates the product was edited within an order, either by being added or reduced. The name associated with the update shows who made the changes.

  • Returned: This status means the product was returned from an order.

  • Reserved: These are products held in stock before payment is made. Previously, the system held the item even before payment confirmation. Now, the reserved status applies to orders that are unpaid but the items are held in stock.

  • Transfer: This occurs when the product is moved from one location to another.

  • Added or Removed: This indicates that the product was adjusted in the inventory.

Product with Variation

Now, you can access a dedicated page for viewing products with variations. When you click on a Product with variations, the new page will show you the “total variations quantity, where you use the  “Add” or “Remove” button to increase or decrease the number of the product.

To view the new product variation page, please follow the steps below;

  • Login to Bumpa Webapp: app.getbumpa.com

  • Click the “Product” tab on your dashboard to view the list of Products

  • Next, click the specific “Product with Variation” to see the list of variations as shown in the image below;

  • Step 2: Click on the “specific preferred variation” to see the details of the variation itself.

Viewing Specific Variation

You can click on each variation to show other details such as “cost price”“discount price” and “barcode”.

When the variation is selected, you can make adjustments to the variation alone, or see the details of the variation specifically.

The arrow at the top allows you move form one variation to another.
