Adding Product Variation

Product variation is a feature on Bumpa that helps you create options (e.g. sizes, colors, etc.),  for products on your website, that customers can easily choose from when placing an order.

Before you add variations, kindly upload a product first - Uploading a Product

To add Product Variations:

On Mobile App 

• Click Product Options to add different variations of your products e.g. sizes and colors while uploading the product or on the edit page.

• Provide the option name and values -  The option name in this example is "color" and the product values are the different colors of the products 
• Please note that you can only have two product options, click on Add another option for another option.
• Click on Continue to edit these variations

Kindly note that each product option must have at least 2 values to show correctly, if not - products will show out of stock. Also, special characters like "/"&" are not accepted as values or options name - products will show out of stock

• Click on edit to provide quantity for the variations 

• Click on Save product variations

Note that if this is a product edit process, your screen will be slightly different from the above. There will be no variation quantity box. To increase the variation quantity, kindly refer to to - how to update stock quantity

• Click on Save product

On the Web 

• Click the New Option under product options

• Input an Option Name (i.e. Colour, length, size etc.) 

• Click New Value to add the values available based on the option name 

Note: You can have only two options for now and as many values as you want under each option. Special characters are not accepted and options must have more than one value.
