Renewing Your subscription

Subscriptions can be renewed either through Paystack or using funds in your Bumpa Wallet and a transaction is recorded in your wallet history. Subscription renewal reminders are sent at 30 days, 1 week and 3 days, stating the channel the renewal will be charged to: Bumpa Wallet or Card.

If no funds at renewal for subscriptions, no transaction is created and the charge is retried for up to 2 attempts (once daily), with an email notification sent each time to fund the wallet. On the 3rd attempt a pending transaction is created, the service is withheld, and the full amount is deducted from the balance until funds are available (balance will be negative).

Also, your account will automatically downgrade to the Basic, and you will lose access to all premium features. Below are some changes to expect when your account reverts to the Basic plan:

• You lose all access to your dashboard (only the subscription page and your Bumpa wallet will be visible)

• Your website link will become invalid

Subscribing using your Bumpa wallet does not attract any additional fees, you can fund your wallet and renew an existing subscription instantly within the platform.

To get started, log into the web app - app.getbumpa.com

• Click Store Setup

• Navigate to the Subscription section

• Click the Renew Subscription option to initiate the process of extending your current subscription.

• Click the Pay button to proceed

• Choose to pay with your Bumpa Wallet, which offers no transaction fees and displays your available balance.

• You can opt in for auto renewal 

• Click the Make Payment button to submit your subscription payment and complete the transaction.

• Fill in your wallet pin to authorize the transaction 

• Click Make Payment

There you have successfully make payment for your subscription using your Bumpa wallet

To renew your subscription using Paystack, 

• Select pay with card or transfer and click Make Payment 

• Select your preferred payment method and make the payment

IMPORTANT NOTE

• Subscriptions can now renew automatically from the wallet funds. There is an auto-renewal checkbox at subscription payment checkout.
• Merchants who pay via Paystack bank transfer with recurring check box ticked are automatically placed on wallet renewal. 
• Merchants who pay via Paystack card with recurring check box ticked are automatically placed on card renewal. 
• Recurring subscription billing from wallet only kicks in after the first successful wallet payment for subscription.

Subscription made through the Bumpa mobile app may include additional fees of up to 30% charged by Google (Android) or Apple (iOS) for in-app purchases. For the best available prices, we recommend using the Web App
