How to add Product Notes

The Product Note feature on Bumpa is designed to enhance the shopping experience for both store owners and customers by allowing additional instructions or customization requests to be included while adding products to cart. With this feature, you can add a text box to specific products on your store, giving customers the opportunity to provide notes such as size preferences, color choices, engraving details, or any other personalized information related to their order.

This is especially useful for businesses that offer customizable items, made-to-order products, or services that require specific input from customers. By enabling this feature, you reduce the need for back-and-forth communication and ensure you have all the details you need to fulfill orders accurately.

This guide covers the steps required to add Product Notes effectively on your Website. By accessing the Dashboard, Store, General Settings, and Products sections, users can input custom product information and save changes promptly.

The Product Note feature is available exclusively to Pro and Growth plan subscribers.

To add product Note, kindly follow these simple steps

1. Go to app.getbumpa.com

2.  Click "Dashboard"

Access the Dashboard.

3. Click "Store Drop-down"

Go to the Store section.

4. Click "General Settings"

Navigate to General Settings.

5. Click "Products"

Select the Products option.

6. Toggle "Product Note"

Toggle on the Product Note button

7. Input "Product Note Title"

Add a title for the note your customers are to input. e.g. Measurement

8. Add "Product Note Placeholder"

Input a default value for the product note, to guide customers on the expected information. E.g. Sleeve, Burst, Shoulder etc.

9. Toggle "Product Note Requirement"

Toggle the button to make the product note required. This ensure that customers add a product note before proceeding to check out

10. Click "Save"

Save the changes made.

There!! You have successfully created product notes.
