At Bumpa, we understand that there may be instances where you need to update your bank account details for payouts and other financial transactions. For your security and to ensure smooth processing, we have outlined a step-by-step guide to help you change your bank details quickly and safely.


Steps to Change Your Bank Details


Step 1: Contact Bumpa Support

Contact Bumpa Support using the email address linked to your Bumpa account to start the process. This is important to enable us to verify that you are the authorized account holder. Please use the following subject line for clarity: "Request for Bank Account Change."


Step 2: Confirm Account Name Match

Once you contact support, you will be asked to confirm if the account name on your new bank account matches the one currently associated with your Bumpa account. Here's how the process works:

  • If the account name matches

 Simply provide both your current bank details and the new bank details (account name, account number, and bank name) to facilitate the change. Bumpa Support will verify the information and proceed with the update.

  • If the account name does not match

  To comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, additional verification is required. You will need to provide:

  1. A government-issued ID card (e.g., passport, driver’s license, national ID).

  2. A separate, clear picture of yourself holding the ID card.

This is an extra layer of security to verify your identity before processing the update. Once the verification is successful, Bumpa Support will complete the update.


Step 3: Verification and Processing

Once all required information is submitted, the Bumpa Support team will review and verify your details. If everything checks out, your bank account information will be updated. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.


Important Notes

  • Ensure that all information provided is accurate to avoid delays in processing.
  • For security purposes, only the account holder can request a bank account change.
  • Your new bank details will take effect within 24 business hours after the request has been confirmed.
