Managing Staff Account

As a store owner, you can now add a staff (i.e. Store Manager, Rep, Storekeeper, Sales Rep, etc.) working for you or your partner with their personal login account to access your Bumpa admin panel and make running the business easier.

With the Staff Account feature, you can assign roles and privileges to help manage your inventory, transactions etc. 

Each staff you invite will have permission to manage your store but will not be able to view or manage analytics or invite additional staff members. 

Note: This feature is available only on the Bumpa Premium plan.

How to Add Staff 

Only you (the store owner) can create staff accounts by sending an invitation to a staff member:

  • Login to the app

  • Click the More page

  • Click Staff Account

  • Click the Plus (+) button

  • Input Role Label

  • Input full name

  • Input email address

  • Input phone number

  • Toggle the permissions to assign permissions to the staff

  • Click Continue

  • Click Invite Staff

An email invitation to create an account and join your team will be sent to the new staff member. The invitation email has the subject “Staff Invitation’’.

Note: You can only add up to 3 staff accounts.

How to Edit Staff 

  • Login to the app
  • Click the More

  • Click Staff Account

  • Click the staff you would like to edit

  • Click edit profile

  • Edit the role, name or phone number

  • Toggle the permissions to edit them

  • Click save

Note: Staff email cannot be edited


How to Remove Staff 

As a precautionary measure, you should periodically revise the list of your store’s staff accounts and remove the staff members you do not work with anymore.

To remove a staff account:

  • Login to the app

  • Click the More page

  • Click Staff Account

  • Select the staff you would like to remove

  • Click remove

  • Click remove staff



The staff member will no longer have access to your store.

How to Accept a Staff Invitation

An email will be sent to the staff email address provided to accept the invitation. The staff member will need to: 

  • Download the Bumpa app on Playstore or Appstore

  • Accept the invitation by clicking on the Join (store name) green button 

  • The staff will be redirected to the Bumpa app to create a password 

  • Login to the Bumpa app with the registered email and password



Note: A Staff invitation lasts for only 7 days from the time of the invitation
